Xavier: I adore art! This museum is a little gem!

Christina: did you know that there are 185 masterpieces among paintings, drawings and prints? And its Library contains 1500 books on History and Art.

Xavier: Of course! They were all donated by the Count and notary Luigi Lechi to the Montichiari City Hall in May 2005. He worked as a Notary in Montichiari from 1957 to 1999 and for sure this had to do with his decision to leave this heritage to the community in Montichiari.

Christina: an amazing gesture! And this collection is extraordinary and precious. The Lechi Family has got a long lasting tradition of collections of masterpieces. Luigi Lechi took this tradition since 1961, always searching for masterpieces, especially belonging to the Lombard school of 1600 and 1700.

Xavier: these fourteen rooms are so stunning that they are the perfect location for such an artistic treasure.

Christina: I feel in love with this museum, I appreciate each detail which makes a visit of the Museum an unforgettable experience.

Xavier: on the ground floor the various rooms welcome temporary events and exhibits thus improving the value of this magical place.
