Xavier: We are not downtown anymore, where are we going to?

Christina: We are heading towards the Centro Fiera ( the Trade Fair Centre), one of the most important in Italy, but we are not going to visit a fair, we are about to see another gem: the Bergomi Museum.

Xavier: Giacomo Bergomi was a painter from Brescia

Christina: Excellent! In 1999 he offered his collection of ethnographic findings from the Valleys and the Brescia plain to the local city hall. The museum is composed of about 6.000 pieces and it is the most important in the Brescia District.

Xavier: two centuries of local rural history are featured here…it’s a fascinating selection with an immense historical value.

Christina: the museum is divided into two sections, the first is about rural life according to different seasons and the second one describes technical instruments and ancient works.

Xavier: we are lucky! We can also visit one of the periodical temporary exhibits at the Museum!
